WËLLKOMM!

Our beer undergoes regular quality controls throughout the brewing process from our own, as well as state owned laboratories.

The Bofferding in-house laboratory is a highly sophisticated facility. Here every stage of the brewing process is checked all the way to the texture of the foam, which is very important to our customer. The duration of which the foam  remains intact is an essential indicator for a best quality beer.

100% NATURAL INGREDIENTS

Using only the finest raw materials, Bofferding beer is brewed exclusively with malt and hops, without any additives or preservatives whatsoever. The Bofferding Brewery is proud to produce a 100% natural beer.

THE WATER

Since water is beer’s most important ingredient, the Bofferding Brewery draws it from its own natural source, more than 300

metres below ground. This exceptionally pure water is submitted to rigorous controls at all times.

THE MALT

Malt, the ingredient that gives beer its unique taste, is obtained through a controlled germination of barley. This germination ensures an easy dissolution of the grain’s residue materials during the brewing process. The Bofferding Brewery only selects barley particularly suitable for malting and brewing

THE HOPS

Besides being a natural preservative, hops gives beer its bitterness and rich aroma. The Bofferding Brewery only uses carefully selected hops from the Hallertau area in Bavaria, the world’s largest hop-growing region.
